
Home-Style Pad Thai Recipe
Ingredients:
Ho-Ya Pad Thai Instant Flavoured Rice Noodles
Choice of protein (tofu, chicken, beef, and/or shrimp)
1 egg
2/3 cup of bean sprout
1 minced garlic clove
2-3 shiitake mushrooms
2/3 lime (optional)
1 teaspoon peanut (optional)
Directions:
Cook the rice noodles in 400ml of boiling water for 2 minutes, drain the water and set a side.
Prep and cook the protein of your choice and set it aside.
In a saucepan, heat up the oil and scramble the egg, season with salt and pepper to taste, remove the egg and set aside.
In the same saucepan, begin stir-frying the garlic, shiitake mushrooms, and the bean sprouts for about 2 minutes.
Mix in the rice noodles, the protein of your choice, egg, the sauce packet and stir well.
Remove from heat and plate.
Top off the dish with garlic pack, dry vegetables, and/or lime and peanuts.
